“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10).
As people who have been served by God in Christ, our new life in Him is characterized by serving. We serve by working to meet the spiritual and physical needs of everyone God places before us.
The greatest need that all of us have is forgiveness, life, and salvation. We meet this need by sharing the good news that Jesus gives these gifts freely to all people. This is our primary service to others.
In addition to this great spiritual need, many people have tremendous physical needs.
We try to help meet needs these needs locally by hosting NA/AA meetings, supporting Hugo’s food shelves, hosting Hugo’s Community Garden, offering our “Kicks for Christ” Soccer Camp, and by hosting period blood drives and health screening.
